Aluminum Bronze

Aluminum bronze is the highest strength copper based alloy and has excellent corrosion resistance. Aluminum bronze alloys feature excellent wear resistance and heavy load carrying ability, making them ideal for heavy-duty applications. The alloys are considered to be non-sparking and suitable for equipment designed to handle explosives, petroleum, chemical and gas products. Alloys with more than 10% aluminum content can be heat treated, further increasing their tensile strength.
